The mechanic
How WishMasters works
Skill gaming, not luck. Closest guess wins. You always know your exact odds before you enter.
Step 01
Pick a prize
Browse our curated competitions — each one features an iconic prize with a story behind it. Every listing shows the prize value, entry price, and exact number of spots remaining before you commit.
Step 02
Make your guess
Each competition has a factual question about the prize itself — a year, a measurement, a price, a quantity. The player whose guess is closest to the correct answer wins. No random draw. Your knowledge matters.
Step 03
Win the prize
When the entry pool fills (or the closing date passes), we reveal the correct answer and the winner. The closest guess takes the prize. We notify the winner by email and arrange delivery.

Common questions
Is this legal in the UK?
Yes. WishMasters runs skill competitions under UK law. Because the winner is determined by skill (closest correct guess) rather than chance, these are not lotteries or prize draws. A free postal entry route is always available.
How are winners determined?
The correct answer to each question is verified against a published primary source (a manufacturer's press release, an official record, a documented auction result). The entry closest to that correct answer wins. In case of a tie, the earliest entry wins.
What does hard-capped mean?
Every competition has a maximum number of entries — 100 for Limited tier, 500 for Premium tier. Once that cap is reached, the entry pool closes. This means your worst-case odds are always 1-in-100 or 1-in-500, not 1-in-tens-of-thousands.
What happens if the competition doesn't fill?
If a competition closes before all spots are taken, we still run it. The winner is determined from the entries received. Entry fees for a cancelled competition (one we choose not to run) are refunded in full.
How does delivery work?
We arrange and pay for all delivery costs to a UK address. For international prizes (e.g. watches, collectibles), we use insured specialist couriers. Exact delivery timeline depends on the prize.
